The Nightmare of Dreams Coming True

What would you do if all your dreams came true?

What if I told you it kind of sucked?

Ha, I bet you’re willing to find out for yourself?

Early in life, I wanted to meet my dream girl and equip our healthy kids to thrive in the world. Then we did exactly that, so I focused on a new dream.

I wanted to make enough money to stress less and stay comfy. Then I did exactly that, so I focused on a new dream.

I wanted to build an online business around writing. Then I did exactly that, so I focused on a new dream.

I wanted to make a movie that would reach millions. Then I did exactly that, so I focused on a new dream.

I wanted to flee the ‘burbs for the woods and reboot everything. Then I did exactly that, so I focused on a new dream.

I wanted to exit Corporate America and build a new career. Now I’m doing exactly that, and it’s hard as f***. Because I suddenly find myself lacking a core dream to obsess over.

Stay on the novel writing path? Share more Self-improvement games? Broadcast the AI writing and editing thing in public? Publish my research around Web3, NFTs, and the creator economy?

I don’t know my new dream and this realization has become a nightmare.

Ha, I guess my new dream is to find my new big dream.

Hey, at least I’m still dreaming and obsessing.

I hope you’re doing the same.
